When you enter our world for the first time, you will be inside of a small area at spawn. This is called the "Spawn room" Read the signs and the books you have received, and you will know what to do to get out of there.
When you have been around for a while, you might want to come back to spawn to explore the place and maybe use some of the official spawn shops. There are a lot of fun Easter eggs to discover around spawn; can you find them all?

Nether Portal[]

The nether portal connects spawn to the nether. Through the portal is the nether hub, which includes the nether shop and the Cobbletown portal. Most players have connected their base, EXP grinder or player shop to the nether hub and will give directions based on the 4 colored hubs.
Hyperloop Station[]

The hyperloop station allows players to enter the hyperloop. The hyperloop is one of the fastest ways to travel in the overworld and can be used to visit other areas. Entrance to the hyperloop used to cost one emerald but entrance has since been made free. Boats can be bought here for an emerald each; alternatively, the /boat command can be used.

At the player market, there are many stalls that players can rent out to create shops. They cost 20 Virtuacoins per 7 days.
Mayor's Tower[]

The Mayor’s Tower is the place to drop your suggestions, for improvements you'd like to see made on the server. Book and quills can be bought for one emerald each, you can write your suggestion and drop it into the hopper in the tower.
Old PVP Arena[]

This is the original PVP arena. Other PVP arenas have been built on the server since. The old PVP arena can still be used for PVP; keep inventory is on so you won’t lose items upon death.

At the Reddit shop, Redditor’s Shrooms, gained by producing content for the PVC Reddit, can be exchanged for gold and enchanted books.

At the YouTube shop, YouTuber’s Apples, gained by producing YouTube videos, can be exchanged for iron, enchanted books, and a Pig Morph Egg.

This was a bank that was built when Emeracoins were upgraded into Virtuacoins. It's larger and newer than the current bank. Here you can trade in your inactivity certificates, diamonds, and playtime certificates for slot tokens. Please be advised that gambling is a risky path often with little return, exercise self control.

This is where the claim shop (for buying more claims), the villager egg shop (for buying vendors) and the Devoted shop for voting rewards are. There are several other shops here too; see the Official Spawn Shops page for more detail. Behind the Devoted store you can find jump pads that give a boost for Elytra owners (may cause death if used without an Elytra).

This is the current spawn bank. Here you can convert emeralds, diamonds, gold and iron into Virtuacoins and vice versa. Nepero and superemeralds can also be bought here.

At the Wiki shop, Writer’s Quills, gained by working on the wiki, can be exchanged for emeralds and enchanted books.

Cobbletown is an area where players can rent or buy plots to build their own shops. These plots vary in price and are significantly larger than the spawn stalls.
