The Sightseeing Event was announced by Triaged on June 16th, 2021.[1] In celebration of PVC's second birthday, users were tasked with exploring the server for abandoned builds which may not be widely known about, and voting on the entries which impressed them the most. Submissions are due on June 24th, and voting will last until June 30th.

Submission Period[]
In order to qualify for submission, locations submitted were required to fit the following "abandonment" criteria:
- The build must either be unclaimed, or
- The current claim owner is at least 3 months inactive, or
- The claim's ownership belongs to one of the Server's Owners.
Additionally, builds that were tied to currently active unions, map art, server utilities, and locations that were apart of the /tour rotation were not eligible for entry.
All users were able to submit a single entry. In the event of a location being submitted twice, only the first user's entry was accepted.
Community Voting Period[]
Following the conclusion of the submission period, voting on entries were opened to the community. Using Discord reactions, users were able to judge the entries on three categories:
- 🗺 Mystique: "I've never seen this build before."
- ✨ Grandeur: "This build is exceptionally designed."
- 🖼 Composition: "The design of the screenshot is incredible."
Following the conclusion of the voting period, four rewards were granted. One build was granted the Best Overall award for scoring the most total votes across all categories, with three additional builds receiving the Best in Category award for earning the most votes in a single category.
Tiebreaker Rules[]
- The build which won Best Overall would not be eligible for Best in Category rewards.
- If a build won more than one Best in Category awards, PVC Staff would vote to determine which category it won in.
- If multiple builds tied for the same Best in Category award, PVC Staff would vote to break the tie.
- While PVC Staff were eligible to enter the event, they automatically forfeit any ties, to avoid bias.
