Overview

The entrance to Foolsport, as seen from the nether portal.

Foolsport is a growing merchant town just west of The Court of Fools Castle. the majority of the shops there are located around 10, -2520. The Court of Fools sells their excess resources here, both to help fund Community projects done by its members, and to allow all players access to the materials they need to bring their ideas into the server. We believe that Creativity should not be gated based on seniority or wealth, and the way we price the various items we sell reflects this philosophy.

Work is currently underway on a Profit shop, where newer players can make a few emeralds to start them out on the server. The design was inspired by Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson. the Profit shop is located next to PhoenixJoe's Nether Shop. Occasionally, limited-time deals will pop up, allowing for the exchange of certain resources for emeralds. When these deals are avaliable is determined by the COF's need for bulk ammounts of a certain resource.

Community Integration

With the introduction of COF&CO, the potential for community involvement in various projects has increased substantially, and Foolsport is no exception. The COF is working on implementing a market stall rental program, so that other players can sell thier wares at Foolsport, keeping in mind that the end goal is to cater to the newer playerbase, and that profit comes second to that goal.

Market Stall Rental

More information to come.
